Running case causes Windows PC to freeze

MantiumFlow CFD Software SupportRunning case causes Windows PC to freeze
From MVRC Staff asked 4 years ago

I have updated my BlueCFDCore to 2017-2 and running the latest MantiumFlow. I can open a case, build a case but when I try and run a case after a while my pc freezes. The last thing that appears in the mesh.log file is Determining initial surface intersections —————————————– Edge intersection testing: Number of edges : 48825000 Number of edges to retest : 48825000 I have tried changing the number of CPUs from 4 to 2 to see if it is resource related but still the same issue. Never had a single run freeze before new mantiumflow/BlueCFDCore

OK, lets hope that it works for you now. The Dropbox folder should have enough space now.

so the case running on a new machine with all the latest versions is successful.
