Getting this error

the case runs and then at Time = 0 I get this error [IMG]http://i64.tinypic.com/kal7ns.jpg[/IMG] I have recreated and tried to run the case several times. everything in the gui looks fine

Well, looking at the log files you sent me, it crashes for no reason at all during meshing which usually indicates too little memory. You should check the RAM assigned in your VM.
Runniing the case with the supplyied input_files does not work for me however. This is due to a bug which is now fixed. Probably tomorrow the new version will be released. As it supports a new version of OF on Windows, I am not sure if you want to try and fix your setup. It might be best to just wait for tomorrow.

I have increased the ram a bit and added a couple more cpu cores.
Now it keeps looping on ’moving mesh’. It does 20 iterations and then starts over…

That is not necessarily bad. Meshing simply takes very long.
I have now released the 2017.5 version of my software. I think this will work better for you.
